Climate
Climate: Mostly dry, Humid weather all year round. In Summer the tempratures range from 25C to 35C and during mid August can reach 40C+, Lighter Clothes recomended. In Winter the weather gets significantly cooler ranging from 10C to 20C with possibility of strong winds, cold air, and chances of rain. Heavier clothes recomended in Months between December and February.

Clothing
Clothing in Egypt reflects a blend of tradition and modern style. In most major cities, people dress in contemporary clothing, while traditional garments like the galabeya are still worn in rural areas and during cultural occasions. Light, breathable fabrics are common due to the warm climate, and modest dress is appreciated, especially when visiting religious sites. Travelers are encouraged to wear comfortable, conservative clothing to respect local customs and stay cool while exploring Egypt’s rich heritage.

Passport/ Visa Info
All Egyptian consulates grant entry visas. Passports are granted visa on arrival. Passports must be valid for atleast 6 months subsequent to the date of proposed visit.

Language
Arabic (Officially), English and French also widely spoken

Local Business Hours:
Government offices open from 9 am to 2 pm Sundays through Thursdays. Banks operate from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm from Sunday through Thursday.

Currency
Egyptian Pound (EGP, LE, "Geneh"), All Major Credit Cards and traveler checks are accepted in major hotels, restaurants and shops, View USD/EGP Exchange Rate

Domestic travels can be organized through EgyptAir, SuperJet/GoBus Bus Services, and Trains.
